roberto-bolano-at-paula-chico1Joi, 12 martie 2009, intr-o ceremonie ce a avut loc la New School in New York, Organizatia National Book Critics Circle si-a anuntat castigatorii. Nominalizarile au fost carti publicate in 2008.

Autorul chilian Roberto Bolańo a castigat Premiul National Book Critics Circle pentru fictiune cu “2666” ce a fost publicata in traducere, in 2008.
Dexter Filkins, reporter pentru The New York Times, a castigat premiul pentru non-fictiune cu “The Forever War” . Premiul pentru autobiografie a mers la Ariel Sabar pentru “My Father’s Paradise: A Son’s Search for His Jewish Past in Kurdish Iraq” si Patrick French a primit premiul pentru biografie cu “The World Is What It Is: The Authorized Biography of V. S. Naipaul.” Organizatia a oferit un dublu premiu pentru poezie lui August Kleinzahler pentru “Sleeping It Off in Rapid City” si lui Juan Felipe Herrera peuntru “Half the World in Light: New and Selected Poems.” La sectiunea Critica, Seth Lerer a castigat cu “Children’s Literature: A Reader’s History From Aesop to Harry Potter.”

    Hello, i guess this is as good of a place as any to post and let you know. I went to subscribe to your RSS feed, and when i clicked it i got an error that said “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING” followed by other gibberish that scrolled off the screen. I had to force the page to stop loading because it locked up my browser. Cheers, Mick.
